Ellis Crane Hire Ltd. runs a fleet of truck mounted and all terrain mobile telescopic cranes of various capacities. In addition to cranes a wide range of ancillary equipment is also available for hire including: man-baskets, bosun's chairs, pallet forks, block-grabs, roll over muck-skips, concrete skips, spreader beams, two way radios and a range of specialist lifting eyes for use with pre-cast concrete products. All of the above are insurance inspected every six months with current certificates available for inspection at any time.

Many factors need to be considered before selecting the right crane for the right lifting operation. The working radius (centre of the slewing area of the crane to the centre of the item being lifted) & weight of the item are just two elements of paramount importance to the selection of the correct crane; they are by no means the only deciding factors.

We pride ourselves at assessing these factors and site conditions for individual lifting operations and selecting the most suitable and cost effective cranes & equipment for the task. Whether these combined elements require anything from an 8 tonne truck mounted crane to a 500 tonne all terrain crane our site assessment and accurate laser measuring techniques will result in the right solution.
