Ellis Crane Hire is an industry leading Contract Lifting and Crane Hire Company, operating out of the Midlands region we supply the latest lifting and transport equipment alongside very experienced technically advanced lifting teams. Safety and quality are at the centre of everything we do, combining around the clock support with unsurpassed industry expertise means we can manage the risk, whatever sector of industry you are in we can manage your expectations.

Our Story

Our story began in 1982, when Bill and Irene Ellis purchased a single 15-ton Kato NK140 and laid the foundations for Ellis Crane Hire. From those Gloucestershire roots, a business built on strong values, trusted service and lasting relationships has continued to grow and evolve. More than four decades later, those same principles remain at our heart — but the Ellis story has come a long way from where it began.
